Dr. Tyler Celey-Butlin is a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served six years aboard fast attack submarines as a nuclear mechanic. During his service, he was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal twice in recognition of his leadership, technical excellence, and dedication to mission success. After completing his military service, Dr. Tyler pursued his passion for service by earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West in 2019.
He completed his preceptorship under the renowned Dr. Laura Swingen in Portland, Oregon—an award-winning chiropractor recognized for her excellence in patient care, leadership, and for running a high-volume clinic focused on complex and neurological cases. Dr. Tyler continued working alongside Dr. Swingen until 2024, gaining extensive experience with patients facing challenging health concerns. Even after relocating, he returned to Portland multiple times to independently run Sunset Chiropractic in her absence—testament to the trust and confidence placed in his clinical skill.
In January 2024, the Celey-Butlins relocated to Winnemucca, Nevada, and Dr. Tyler opened Winnemucca Chiropractic in July 2025, bringing high-level care and small-town heart to his new community.
He is currently pursuing his Diplomate in Functional Neurology through the Carrick Institute, with plans to sit for board exams in Fall 2026. With a solid foundation in functional neurology training, he has a deep passion for helping people with complex conditions, particularly those involving the nervous system.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Tyler is a devoted Christian, husband, and father of three. His wife homeschools their children while together they homestead—raising goats, chickens, and working toward the goal of producing all their own food.
